  1. Hints for using PMFILTER.EXE V1.01
  2.  
  3. Usage:
  4. PMFILTER.EXE is a Windows program which is looking for any
  5. unread PMAIL Mail inside the Bindery Mail directory of the NetWare
  6. server from which it has been started.
  7. If running, the program will inform the Windows user about the
  8. occurence of unread Mail via a MessageBox.
  9.  
  10. Installation:
  11. Copy PMFILTER.EXE to a NetWare Server on which PMFILTER should
  12. look for PMAIL Mail. If you want the german version use PMFIL-DE.EXE.
  13. Furthermore you do need a drive which is mapped to the root of
  14. the SYS-Volume.

  17.     W:=ASTERIX\DAT:APPS\WIN31\WINPMAIL    (directory)
  18.     F:=ASTERIX\SYS:LOGIN            (directory)

  20. If you starting PMFILTER the first time, a configuration screen
  21. appears, where you were able to change the current directory options.

  23. NetWare versions:
  24. PMFILTER.EXE will work on netWare 2.x and 3.x Servers as well as
  25. under NetWare 4.x. Under NetWare 4.x Servers the server must
  26. running in Bindery Emulation, and there must be a MAIL directory
  27. for the user.
